Mt. Annapurana is located in North-Central Nepal. It is the tenth highest mountain in the world. It was 1st scaled by the French Expedition team led by the Maurice Herzog and Louis Lachenal on the 3rd June 1950.It was the first mountain climbed among the 8 thousander.
The trekking to the Annapurna Circuit trek was first opened in 1997. Since then it has been regarded as one of the highly praised and spectacular trekking route in the Annapurna region. This magnificent trek leads you to the fine villages settled by the people of different ethnic groups. This trek offers you the spectacular and majestic view of the Himalayas.
We have prepared 21 days Itinerary for this trek with 3 nights stays in Kathmandu and one night stay in Pokhara. This trek begin at Khudi and ends at Pokhara making one circuit. You will ascent towards Throng La pass with overnight stays in places like Sirung, Jagat, Dharapani, etc. The highest point of this trek is Thorongla pass which lies at the altitudes of 5416m. Due to the difficulties of crossing the pass, the circuit is usually walked in a counter clockwise direction. After crossing the Throngla pass we will reach Muktinath and either we can go towards Jomsom and take flight to Pokhara or further trek to Marpha and trek all the way down to Nayapul.

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264ft).

Day 13: Thorong Phedi to Muktinath (3,800m/12,467ft) via Thorong La pass (5416m/17764ft): 7 – 8 hours.

Day 14: Muktinath to Marpha (2,670m/8,760ft): 4 – 5 hours.

Day 15: Marpha to Kalopani (2,530 m/8,300 ft): 5 – 6 hours.

Day 16: Kalopani to Tatopani (1,200m/3,937ft): 6 – 7 hours.

Day 17: Tatopani to Ghorepani (2,850m/9,350ft): 7 – 8 hours.

Day 18: Ghorepani to Poon Hill to Tadapani (2,700m/8,860ft): 6 – 7 hours.

Day 19: Tadapani to Pokhara (850m/2,789ft) via Ghandruk: 5 – 6 hours trek, 1 hour drive.

Day 20: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu: 5-6 hours.

Day 21: Final departure.

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264ft)
Upon arrival in Kathmandu airport you will be welcome by our representative and transfer to your hotel. You will be given briefing regarding your trip. Rest of the day is free at your own.

Day 2: Half day sightseeing of Kathmandu city, Swayambhunath and Boudhnath
After breakfast, you will visit Kathmandu durbar square. It is also called the Hunuman Dhoka Durbar Square. It is the public square which contains ancient palaces, temples, statues and streets. After your visit to Kathmandu Durbar Square, you will visit to Swayambhunath which is standing tall on a hill. There is mythological story associated with origin of Swyambhunath. Afterwards, you will visit Boudhnath Stupa which is the holiest place of Buddhists.

Day 3: Drive to Khudi (800m/2,624ft): 7- 8 hours
After breakfast, drive to Khudi. we will drive through same highway that leads to Pokhara till Dumbre. From Dumbre, we will head to the north to Besisahar.A Half hours drive from Besishar will take us to Khudi. Khudi offers us a first glimpse view of the Manaslu range.

Day 4: Khudi to Sirung (2200m/7216 ft): 6 - 7 hours
After breakfast, we start trekking to Sirung. we walk crossing a few suspensions bridge and waterfalls with ascending and descending across rice paddies and subtropical forest. We pass an ethnic tamang settlement of Taranche village before reaching to Sirung. We see close up views of Nadi Chuli and Manaslu mountains from Sirung.

Day 5: Sirung to Jagat (1,300m/4265ft): 6 - 7 hours
After breakfast, trek to Jagat. We will pass small villages and forest on the way. we will cross suspension bridge over the Sangu Khola at Mipra and again at Syange over the Marsyangdi river. Further, our trails moves alongside the mighty Marshyangdi river. After crossing one more bridge we will reach Jagat.

Day 6: Jagat to Dharapani (1,960m/6,430ft): 7-8 hours
After breakfast, we will trek to Dharapani. The trail from Jagat descends till it reaches the river and continues through a lush forest. Further, ascent leads to sharp-edged cliff facing the riverbank. After crossing the suspension bridge, we will climb slippery and challenging path to Sattale. Later, we approach steeply forested village of Karte and passing cliff and waterfalls we will reach to Dharapani.

Day 7: Dharapani to Chame (2,710m/8,891ft): 5 - 6 hours
we trek through a few forested ridges to our way to Chame. Chame is the headquarters of the Manang Districts. Today you will also get the opportunity, to visit small hot springs where we can dip in and soothe our aching muscles.

Day 8: Chame to Pisang (3,300m/10824ft): 5 - 6 hours
Today we trek through steep and narrow path through a very dense forest. We will also trek through steepest part of the Marshyangdi valley. After 5-6 hours of walking from Chame we will reach to Pisang.

Day 9: Pisang to Manang: 6 - 7 hours
we will trek through the uppper pisang via Geru. You will also get the opportunity to see beautiful landscape and the mighty mountains including Annapurna and Pisang. If time permit, we will also visit Barge monastery, the largest monastery of Manang.

Day 10: Manang: Acclimatization day
For the acclimatization process, we keep our self busy in short hike either to Bhojo Gumba or Gangapurna lake. If time permits, we also visit HRA in Manang.

Day 11: Manang to Yak Kharka (4,110m/13,484ft): 3 - 4 hours
After breakfast, we walk slowly crossing a stream. We will reach villages namely Tenki, Ghunsa today. After 4 hours of walk from the Manang we will reach to Yak Kharka.

Day 12: Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi (4,600m/15,092ft): 3 - 4 hours
Today's trek is quite uphill. After crossing suspension bridge, we will reach to Ledar village. Before reaching Thorong Phedi, we will pass massive cliff. Throng Phedi is the last village before crossing Thorang Pass

Day 13: Thorong Phedi to Muktinath (3,800m/12,467ft) via Thorong La pass (5416m/17764ft): 7 - 8 hours
We will cross today one of the highest pass in the world today. we will pass from east to west ( entering from the Manang and exit from Muktinath). It is also regarded as the easiest and safe route. we starts early in the morning.

Day 14: Muktinath to Marpha (2,670m/8,760ft): 4 - 5 hours
Muktinath is very important site for both Hindus and Buddhists. Early in the morning we will visit to Muktinath. Later we will trek down to Kagbeni following steep and barren hillside. We will further move to Marpha, which is also very famous for the production of Apple in Nepal.

Day 15: Marpha to Kalopani (2,530 m/8,300 ft): 5 - 6 hours
After breakfast, we will walk towards Kalopani via Chokhopani village. we cross the Thakali villages in between . We will also see beautiful views of Dhualagiri, Tukuche , Nilgiri and Annapurna I. Before reaching Kalopani, we will cross the river.

Day 16: Kalopani to Tatopani (1,200m/3,937ft): 6 - 7 hours
After breakfast, we start trek to Tatopani. We will cross bridge at Ghasa. Today we will see very beautiful Rupse Chahara ( water fall). We will see very beautiful village of Dana today. We will also see a powerhouse at Narchyang Besi. Later will reach at Tatopani.

Day 17: Tatopani to Ghorepani (2,850m/9,350ft): 7 - 8 hours
Today we will leave the Kali Gandaki river and climb up the Ghar Khola valley. we will see terrraced farmland with mountains around. we also see beautiful villages of Shikha and Chitre. Further walk will lead us to Ghorepani village.

Day 18: Ghorepani to Poon Hill to Tadapani (2,700m/8,860ft): 6 - 7 hours
Early in the morning hike to Poonhill, from Poonhill you can see spectacular view of Annapurna range, Mt Dhaulagiri , Mt Manaslu etc. After the view , return back for the breakfast at the hotel and further trek to Tadapani.

Day 19: Tadapani to Pokhara (850m/2,789ft) via Ghandruk: 5 - 6 hours trek, 1 hour drive
After breakfast, we will descent through the dense and dark forest. we pass through huge rhododendron trees. After few hours of trek, we will reach Ghandruk village. we also see spectacular view of Fishtail, Annapurana South and Hiunchuli mountains. After 5-6 hours of trek from Tadapani, we will reach at Pokhara.

Day 20: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu: 5-6 hours
After breakfast, drive to Kathmandu. It takes around 6 hours to reach Kathmandu.

Day 21: Final departure
Transfer in airport in time to departure for the outbound flight.
