Ghorepani Ghandruk trekking lies in the Annapurna region. It is one of the most popular trek in the Annapurna region. The most interesting part of this trek is to climb a Poon hill which is 3210m in height. Ghorepani and Dhandruk are the two separate Village Development Committee. Ghorepani is famous for the Rhododendron forests as well as the fantastic panoramic sunrise, sunset view from Poon Hill.

Because of the variation of Landscape features and the easy trail, Ghorepani Ghandruk is one of the most visited areas of Annapurna region.Ghorepani Ghandruk trek is suitable for the beginners trekker, children with family, senior citizen etc. It is also equally popular among the those tourists who have limited time and still dreaming of glimpse of snow caped mountain peaks and experience of himalyan life. The wild rhododendron flowers bloom during the spring time and adds another beauties to this trekking.
The trekking to this region can be done around the year except mid june to mid September. The treks begin at the Nayapul (1070m) and heads up to the Ghorepani (2750m). The treks offers you fascinating tradition of local Gurung people. You will see breathtaking views of of Mt. fishtail (6993m), Annapurna South (7219m), Himchuli (6441m) and amazing mountain panorama views from Poon Hill (3210m) including entire Dhaulagiri (8167m) massif and Annapurna range series dominating the skyline beyond with Annapurna I (8091m) peak.

Ghorepani Ghandruk Trek

Day 1: Arrival and transfer to your hotel.

Day 2: Full day sightseeing of Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swoyambhunath and Patan city.

Day 3: Drive Kathmandu (1320m) to Pokhara and commence on Half day sightseeing. (914m – 7 hrs).

Day 4: Drive to Nayapul and trek to Tikhedhunga (1577m – 6hrs).

Day 5: Trek to Ghorepani (2855m – 6hrs).

Day 6: Trek to Poonhiil (3180m.) and Trek to Tadapani (2675m – 6hrs).

Day 7: Trek to Ghandruk (1950m – 6hrs).

Day 8: Trek to Ghandruk / Nayapul. Drive Nayapul-Pokhara.

Day 9: Drive Pokhara to Kathmandu.

Day 10:Departure transfer.

Day 1: Arrival and transfer to your hotel.
Upon arrival in Kathmandu airport you will be welcome by our representative and transfer to your hotel. You will be given briefing regarding your trip. Rest of the day is free at your own.

Day 2: Full day sightseeing of Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swoyambhunath and Boudhanath
After breakfast, you will visit Kathmandu durbar square. It is also called the Hunuman Dhoka Durbar Square. It is the public square which contains ancient palaces, temples, statues and streets. After your visit to Kathmandu Durbar Square, you will visit to Swayambhunath which is standing tall on a hill. There is mythological story associated with origin of Swyambhunath. Afterwards, you will visit Boudhnath Stupa which is the holiest place of Buddhists.

Day 3: Drive Kathmandu (1320m) to Pokhara and commence on Half day sightseeing. (914m - 7 hrs)
After breakfast, Drive Kathmandu-Pokhara which is 210 km and takes near about 6 hours drive. You will drive through the villages and significant portion of your drive will be on the bank of Trisuli river which is also famous for the Rafting. Upon arrival in Pokhara, check in at your hotel. If time permits, commence on half day sightseeing of Pokhara.Visit includes Devis fall, Gupteshwor Mahadev, Bindyabasini temple etc.

Day 4: Drive to Nayapul and trek to Tikhedhunga (1577m - 6hrs)
After breakfast, drive Nayapul which takes around 2 hours drive from Pokhara. Uppon arrival at Nayapul, you will start your trek to Thikedhunga. We cross Modi khola today. After 4 hours of trek we can reach To Tikhe Dhunga.

Day 5: Trek to Ghorepani (2855m - 6hrs)
After breakfast, trek to Ghorepani. It is small village with small shops and stalls for selling local product and craft. we can see Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain range from the Ghorepani. It takes around 7 hours to reach Ghorepani from Tikhe Dhunga.

Day 6: Trek to Poonhiil (3180m.) and Trek to Tadapani (2675m - 6hrs)
Early in the morning hike to Poonhill, from Poonhill you can see spectacular view of Annapurna range, Mt Dhaulagiri , Mt Manaslu etc. After the view , return back for the breakfast at the hotel and further trek to Tadapani.

Day 7: Trek to Ghandruk (1950m - 6hrs)
Today you will trek down to famous Gurung village called Ghandruk. Today's trekking will be easy walk following gentle descent through the deep forest up to Ghandruk.

Day 8: Trek to Ghandruk/ Nayapul. Drive Nayapul - Pokhara
After breakfast, trek to Ghandruk to Nayapul . It takes around 5-6 hours to reach Nayapul and drive further to Pokhara (2 hours).

Day 9: Drive Pokhara to Kathmandu
After breakfast, drive to Kathmandu which takes 6 hours.
Overnight at Hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 10: Departure transfer
Transfer to international airport in time to board flight
