3 Nights | 4 Days (Fly in - Fly Out)

Day 1: Fly Kathmandu-Gongkar Airport and Drive to Lhasa (3600m, 65 kilometers, 1 hrs) Overnight at Hotel.

Day 2: Sightseeing tour of Jokhang Temple, Sera Monastery and Barkhor Market. Overnight at Hotel

Day 3: Sightseeing tour of Potala Palace and Drepung monastery. Overnight at Hotel

Day 4: Drive to Airport for flight to Kathmandu. Overnight at Hotel

Day 1: Fly Kathmandu-Gongkar Airport and Drive to Lhasa (3600m, 65 kilometers, 1 hrs)

Our representative will pick you up from the Gongkar Airport which connects Tribhuwan international airport. After immigration formalities, you will drive to Lhasa which is situated at the height of 3660 meters. It takes around 45 minutes to reach the old city. After check in at hotel. Take rest and acclimatize with the altitude of Lhasa.

Day 2: Sightseeing tour of Jokhang Temple, Sera Monastery and Barkhor Market

After breakfast, commence on sightseeing tour of Jokhang Temple, Sera Monastery and Barkhor Market.

Jokhang Temple:
It is one of the most sacred temple in the Tibet. It is also considered to be the power place in the Tibetan region. There are many stories connected with the Bhrikuti (Daughter of Nepal) and the Jokhang temple.

Sera Monastery:
It is approx. 5 km away from Lhasa. It was founded in 1419. It lies in the base of Mount Purbuchok. It was one of the important center for learning in past. Approximately, about 550 monks are supposed to live here.

Barkhor Market:
In the Barkhor Market you can find the Tibetan handicrafts items, Buddhist artifacts, paintings etc.

Day 3: Sightseeing tours of Potala Palace and Drepung Monastery

After breakfast, visit Potala palace and Drepung monastery

Potala Palace:
It is also called the winter palace of Dalai Lama. It is a 13th storied monument. The height of Potala palace is above 117m. It has 10,000 shrines, over 200,000 images and about 100 rooms. It has numbers of complex Tibetan morals and beautiful statues.

Note: The order of sightseeing places will be decided by our guide as only limited number of visitor are allowed inside the Potala palace

Drepung Monastery:
This is one of the beautiful monastery where you can see and observe nuns and monks chanting and performing religious discourse.

Day 4: Drive to Airport for flight to Kathmandu (3600m, 65Km, 1 hr)

After breakfast, drive to airport for the flight in Kathmandu
