Paragliding

Paragliding is a relatively a new adventure sports in Nepal and is the simplest, safest, and least expensive way of discovering the joys of flying alone. It is an opportunity to experience the aerial views of the magnificent Himalayas in the backdrop as you soar over lakes, villages, monasteries, temples and jungles together with the eagles and griffins. Sarangkot, which is at the 1,450 above Lakeside in Pokhara is the jumping off point for the paragliders.
Paragliding in Nepal is practiced since 1995. Nepal is one of the best place for the Paragliding. It is possible to fly with world famous pilots, solo or beginner under taking your first tandem flight.

The 30-45 minutes flight gives you opportunity to have a bird eye view of the beautiful Pokhara
and the nearby hills.

Paragliding

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu.

Day 2: Drive Kathmandu to Pokhara (210 Kms, approx 6 Hrs)

Day 3: Am: Visit Sarangkot for Paragliding. PM: Half day Pokhara tour

Day 4: Drive Pokhara – Kathmandu (210 Kms, 6 hrs)

Day 5: Departure Transfer.

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
Upon arrival in airport. Meet and greet by our representative in the airport and transfer to your hotel
Overnight at Hotel in kathmandu

Day 2: Drive Kathmandu to Pokhara (210 Kms, approx 6 Hrs)
After breakfast, drive Kathmandu to Pokhara which is 210 Kms. You will drive to Pokhara passing to scenic mountain highway. Upon arrival in Pokhara, check in hotel and rest for a while. Evening stroll around the Lake side area.

Day 3: Am: Visit Sarangkot. PM: Half day Pokhara tour
Early in the morning you will drive towards Sarangkot which is at the altitude 1592m. From Sarangkot you can see a panoramic sweep of Himalayan peaks from Dhaulagiri (8167m) in the west to the perfect pyramid of Machhapuchhare (6997m), the tent-like peak of Annapurna II (7937m) to Lamjung (6983m) in the east. People go during the dawn or dusk. Take a jump from the Paragliding spot.
Afternoon, you will visit Devis fall - an incredible waterfall which is named after tourist who fell and died here. After visiting Devis fall, you will continue to Gupteshwor Mahadev where a shiva linga ( stone representing lord shiva was found). You will then go to Phewa lake which is the main attraction of Pokhara and you can also do boating.

Day 4: Drive Pokhara-Kathmandu (210 Kms, 6 hrs)
After breakfast, you will drive Kathmandu to Pokhara retracing the same highway. It will take you around 6 hrs to reach Kathmandu.

Day 5: Departure Transfer
After breakfast you will be transfer to the Tribhuwan International airport on time to board for the outbound flight.

  • 2 nights accommodation at Choice of Hotel in Pokhara on bed & breakfast basis
