The Tsum valley lies on the northern part of manaslu and it was restricted areas till 2008. Tsum valley is one of the most remote valley and secluded Himalayan valley. The trek to Tsum valley takes us to majestic surrounding of the Boudha Himal, Sringi Himal and Ganesh Himal. The people of this valley are mostly Tibetan. The people of Tsum valley are called Tsumbas who are mostly Tibetan origin. During the initial days of our trek we will trek through the route of the Manaslu circuit trek. This region is still less crowded as compare to other touristic destination of Nepal. The people of Tsum valley have unique cultural practice which could be surprising for many others. For a instance, all the brother of family are married to a single girl, which can also be called practice of Polyandry.

The starting and ending point of the trek is Arughat. The first half of the treks ascends the Budhi Gandaki valley. Once we left the trail for the Tsum valley, we might get feeling of entering into the hidden valley. On the trek, we will pass through the alpine forests, glacial river etc, we will also get the warm hospitality of the people. We will pass through the alpine forests, glacial rivers and enjoy the warm hospitality of the ethnic people. We will see the ancient Gompas of the region such as Rachen, Gompa, Mu Gompa, Dephyudonma Gompa.

Day 20: Departure transfer

Day 1: Arrive Kathmandu & Transfer to Hotel (1300m/ 4264ft)
Meet and assists at Kathmandu international airport by our representative and transfer to the hotel.

Day 2: Half day sightseeing in Kathmandu and trekking preparation
After breakfast, commence on half day sightseeing of the Swyambhunath and Pasupatinath. Rest of the time is free to prepare for the trekking

Day 3: Drive Kathmandu to Arughat (600m/ 1968ft) 7-8 hours drive
After breakfast, we will drive towards the Arughat via Dhadingbesi, through the adventure road of the Dhadingbesi viewing the greenery hills we reach Arughat. Arughat is our trek starting point. It takes around 7-8 hours to reach Arughat from Kathmandu.

Day 4: Arughat to Soti Khola (700m/ 2296ft) 5-6 hours
After breakfast, we will start trekking to Soti Khola. We will cross the bridge over budhi Gandaki and will head to the western part of Arughat. We will follow stone –paved through the bazaar. On the way we will pass hydro electric project, fields of rice and millet to mangaltar. Later we will reach to Shanti Bazar. Once we cross Arkhet khola on a suspension bridge. After Kuerepani, the trail descends to the Soti khola.

Day 5: Soti Khola to Maccha Khola (870m/ 2952ft) 6-7 hours
Mostly today we will walk through woodland along the Budi Gandaki. Later we will descend to the wide, sandy riverbed. After 5-6hours of trek we will reach Machha Khola.

Day 6: Maccha Khola to Jagat (2340m/ 7676ft) 6-7 hours
Once we cross the hot spring at Tatopani, you will find forested area till Dovan Khola. Then we will walk toward the Budhi Gandaki valley. You will find the transformation in scenery as the elevation increases.

Day 7: Jagat to Chisapani (1660m/ 5445ft) 4-5 hours
In Jagat we will finish ACAP procedure work, we will climb to Salleri over a rocky ridge and later again we will descends down to Sirdibas. We will climb till Philim . Once we walk further, we will reach to Chisapani.

Day 8: Chisapani to Chumling (2386m/ 7827ft) 6 - 7 hours
After breakfast, we will head to the chumling. We will cross Ekle Bhatti. On the right side we will see big and beautiful waterfall and we will enter to the pine trees forests. We will descend down to the trail going to the Tsum valley. We will climb through the pine and Rhodendrons forest. Once we cross siyar khola we will arrive at Chumling. We will visit old Chumling Gompa.

Day 9: Chumling to Chokhangparo (3010m/ 9903ft) 4-5 hours
After breakfast, we will start trek to Chokhangparo. We will cross the suspension bridge onto the opposite bank. On the way we will see Ganesh Himal. Crossing another bridge we will reach to Tsum. Once we walk further we will reach to Chokhangparo.

Day 10: Chokhangparo to Nile (3361m/ 11058ft) 5-6 hours
After breakfast, we will head to the Nile. We are now very close Tibetan Landscapes. We will climb to Mu Gompa. We will visit the monastery. Later we will visit to the Dhepu Doma Gompa.

Day 11: Nile to Mu Gompa (3700m/ 12174ft) 3 hours
After breakfast, we trek to the Mu Gompa. Mu Gompa is the largest monastery in the region. We will visit to Dhephu Doma Gompa

Day 12: Sightseeing in Mu Gompa
Today we will explore Mu Gompa Region. Mu Gompa is considered as the largest monastery of the region. The Gompa lies at the remote and highest part of Tsum valley. After exploring the Mu Gompa area, we will go to the base of Pika Himal

Day 13: Mu Gompa to Burgi Village (3245m/ 10644ft) via Milarepa cave 5 hours
After breakfast, we will trek to Burgi village. We will trek through the Chhule and Phurbe. The Burgi village is a small beautifull village. We will also climb to the Malaria’s cave (piren phu).

Day 14: Burgi village -Chumling (2386m/ 7827ft) 5-6 hours
After breakfast, we trek to the Chumling. We will continue trekking the nature and descend down to Paro again. We will cross Sarpu Khola. Further trek leads to Chumling.

Day 15: Chumling to Philim (1570m/ 5103ft) 6-7 hours
The trail continues to Lokpa. After lunch , we head further.Enjoy the gorgeous Samba Falls. Finally arrive at Philim after 6 or 7 hours long trekking. A trail passes through the Phillim village that leads to the Ganesh Himal Base Camp.

Day 16: Philim to Khorlabesi(970m/ 3182ft) 6-7 hours
After breakfast, we will trek to Khorlabesi. Firstly, we will descend to Sirdibas and reach to Jagat. Once we descend further will reach Yaruphant. We trek further and later reach to Dobhan and finally we will arrive at Tatopani. You will also find Hot spring in the Tatopani. If you have interest you can also do bathing in Tatopani.

Day 17: Khorlabesi to Soti Khola (700m/ 2296ft) 6-7 hours
After breakfast, we trek to the Tharo Khola. We will go down to the river and traverse Machha Khola village. We will reach Labubesi, which is mostly inhabited by the Gurung.Later we will reach Khursane. We will walk around the Budhi Gandaki and will cross Sal forests. Once we crossed the bridge we will arrive Soti Khola.

Day 18: Soti Khola to Arughat to Kathmandu (1300m/ 1968ft) Walk 4 hours and drive 7-8 hours
After breakfast, we trek Sotikhola to Kathmandu. We will descend down to the cascading waterfall. We will cross the Arkhet Khola. We will leave now Budhigandaki Valley. Passing Sante Bazaar, maltar and hydroelectric power plant, we will reach to Soti Khola.

Relax at hotel or the rest of the day is free at your own for shopping or souvenir

Day 20: Departure transfer
Transfer to the Kathmandu airport for the flight to your onward destination.
